Uric Acid Levels

I have high levels of uric acid levels in my system. Which of course points to Gout.
However..I do not have the swelling a single location pain I have seen in my husbands bouts with gout. I do however have major joint/muscle pain and stiffness after activity, (yard work, handling freight at work etc) after sitting for periods of time, and at night. Some nights i cant sleep because my whole body aches so bad, and i have to be cautious when i get out of bed during the night to stand a few seconds before taking steps.
Is this Gout..or is it something else that my doctor is over looking because the blood test results just point to gout? Coltrasine..did nothing for the uric acid levels.

@moof1boy8, this sounds very uncomfortable as you wait to find answers with your doctors. Since Colchicine didn't relieve your symptoms, what has your doctor suggested as next steps?

Not sure but from experience my blood uric acid levels were high even when I wasn’t having a gout flare up. What I did after having so many flare ups is I went to see a nutritionist because I found too many conflicting food no no’s on the internet. She gave me a gout diet to follow and have not had a flare up since. also my blood uric acid level is now normal
Have they done any X-rays . I wonder myself as I have osteoarthritis, gout which is an arthritis, not sure what other arthritic conditions I might have.

I am.now on Albuterin..but..it also is not releaving the Joint/muscle pain/stiffness.
