I have vibrations/tremors in my head that started 6 month ago (2 month after my booster). I had an MRI and did many other test, everything came back ok. I saw a neurologist and he thought it was a vestibular disfunction.

In July when I had Covid, it intensified and my tingling/vibrations started in my hands and feet. I also felt my heart beating and working hard. I recovered from Covid and it settled down a bit but it didn't go away entirely. I was able to be active again and have a normal lifestyle.

Just two weeks ago, I was exposed to Covid while vacating with friends, who came down with Covid. A few days after, many new symptoms developed. The tingling/vibrations spread in my body (from feet up). I had numbness sensations in my face, felt like my skin falling asleep. I developed shivers and my heart was working hard. I experienced fatigue and sleep 12 hours every night. If I exerted myself, everything intensified. The hardest thing is to fall asleep and I took Benadryl to help me fall asleep.

My doctor ordered the ANA blood test (marker for autoimmune) and it came back with a title of 1:360, abnomal. I saw my neurologist again and he diagnosed my symptoms as a post Covid flare. I am experiencing SFN symptoms (small fiver neuropathy). He said it should settle but it will take month. However, it can flare up again (even with the flue or other infections).

I tried Gabapentin to sleep, which helped. But my neurologist wants me to stop taking it and wants me to take amitriptyline (anti depressant) and flexural HS at night (a muscle relaxer). I am now reluctant to take the anti depressant as it didn't help you. Did you also take the amitriptyline? What are you taking to fall asleep at night?

I have had post Covid syndrome for 14 months now. I experience a variety of symptoms off and on. In July 2022 I started having the internal vibrations and the neurologist put me on amitrptyline. I slept really well but other side effects were awful (dizziness worse than I already had & strong palpitations) so I decided to discontinue that med and deal with the vibrations.
