Anyone had carboplatin only after failing docetaxal & cabazitaxel?

Has anyone been given just carboplatin after failing on both docetaxal and cabazitaxel?

@rso, single-agent carboplatin is sometimes used, but more commonly used in combination with other drugs like docetaxel. Did you have carobplatin in combination and now it is being suggested to go solo with carbo?

It's helpful to know that you have genetic mutations that help avoid taking strong drugs and suffering their side effects unnecessarily. But I bet it's disheartening when it limits your treatment options. 🙁

Definitely because you expect to hear that you have more treatment options after the testing, not less. Still waiting for the other biopsy to be done which has been very frustrating. Covid has changed the way health care is delivered.
Fingers crossed for another immunotherapy approach.
