Pain after my biopsy yesterday

My hematomas were still painful & present 4 weeks after the biopsy. My surgeon removed them during my lumpectomy. They didn’t come back but now I have a Seroma. It’s not painful but the sloshing noise from my breast was nauseating. I sounded like a 1/2 empty milk jug when I moved. My surgeon drained (3.25 oz of fluid) it during my post op appointment. If they’re still there when you have surgery you could ask the surgeon to be sure they’re removed if possible. I don’t know if they do this automatically or not. Hoping you have the best outcome!

It’s been 2 weeks since the stereotactic biopsy and the swelling has gone down, the bruising has gotten less grotesque but the hematoma has no intention of abating. Grrr…
If I end up with a seroma, I will definitely ask the doctor to drain it. Thank you for telling me about your experience. Sloshing sounds coming from my breast would have really freaked me out! 🌷
