Hi I go by the name of virtuous69. Have not posted in years. I have total spine pain 24/7 and must rely on Norco. Spine neurologist says I,m too far gone for any conventional treatments other than Norco and spinal epidural and Norco. He recently handed me a pamphlet to study I think called Intercept. Instead of burning abalation of nerves outside of the disk, he burns the nerve inside the damaged disc. Less invasive than regular nerve burning.
Some one please direct me to Colleen Young to restart my profile as I have several health issues I need to discuss. I am 74 yrs old.
Thankyou

Has anyone had the following complications from past surgery?
Ongoing burning sensations at incision
Ongoing nerve pain at surgery
Standing very long causes extreme pain
Hello @missliz. I'm sorry you are still having these symptoms. How long has it been since your surgery? Does your doctor say that you've healed properly?
Hi. I'm Dean Behnke, 42 in Woodbury, MN.
I've been a CPS patient for going on 8 years.
First I was diagnosed with DDD, then it was arthritis in my hips. The arthritis grew up my spine and now into my shoulders. Basically, my docs say I have arthritis every where.
I deal with something going on in my left shoulder and arm. I call it snap, crackle, pop. My shoulder grinds anytime I move it. If I reach or extend by a little. It sends jolts down through my elbow and into my fingertips.
I have gone through 4 rounds of land PT and 3 rounds of water PT.
I also have many mental illness. I have bi-polar 2. Dissociation. Diagnosed cognition disorder with extreme depression & anxiety. I have panic/anxiety attacks on the daily from the smallest things.
But hello.
I am working hard to try and 1. Understand more than what my doctors tell me / willing to tell me. 2. To help myself try to counter the pain I am in daily.
Thank you! <3
I have.
Surgery was done in February. Doctor only says nerve problem. Wondering whether sutures or scar tissue could be the problem. Would like to see or talk to a doctor in Rochester.

@missliz I understand your concern. It's not uncommon that nerve and tissue damage or sensitivities can be present after surgery. If you'd like to apply to be seen at Mayo Clinic Rochester, here is a link for application:

Have you had a second opinion or been to any other specialists besides the doctor who performed your surgery? How have you been handling your symptoms?
