Well - we were told the placement for the two different types of dialysis and in a way, my husband is to blame because he had already decided that he wanted to go with hemodialysis. Still, I thought since this was the first time we were giving this consideration they should have talked about the pros and cons and that I would have an opportunity to discuss our desert living - sure seems we should have done that some time before we saw the vascular surgeon.
