I have a very large hiatial hernia. The surgeon said he would need to use mesh the size of a saucer to repair it. Actually, I have a huge one and a small one beside it. My sister and my daughter both had mesh and nothing but pain and trouble with it. Now I am petrified of getting mesh. It is the size of a grapefruit. Please give me some input. Thank you so much.
