May I ask where you live? In the United States schools are required to provide support to students who have any kind of disability, even those that are hidden or invisible. If tinnitus affected your school work you should have had some special support.

You are 25 years old now. Are you employed? In what kind of job?

I am not aware of the tinnitus test you say you have results from, so would not know how to evaluate your results. What kind of medical doctor did you see?

Unfortunately, tinnitus is a mystery for the most part. Researchers are working hard to figure out what causes it and what remedies it. The problem is that remedies seem to vary. Allergies have been mentioned as possible causes, but it has to be determined as to what you are allergic to.

Below is a link to a researchers explanation of what tinnitus sounds like. It's not easy to explain to those who don't understand.
