Is facial twitching due to neuropathy?

Thank you very much for your reply.
I have read about hemifacial spasms but this is both sides.
I would say it is mainly right sided but I do get twitches around the left eye too. On a daily basis it seems to move from left under eye to right under eye and chin and lip. Both under eyes are getting stronger. I don't drink alcohol. I drink 2 coffees a day max before 11.30 am. I don't sleep too well.
At the moment, due to the NHS waiting list initiative I am very lucky to have a private Neurologist from Medicare. I saw him in August and I thought he was extremely thorough. He checked for Bells Palsy. Ordered more electrical testing and an MRI head which I had under NHS on 26 Aug, this is still unreported, I checked today. And I used to work for that Radiologist!

Hoping you find some answers. I had just read the article and saw the sentence which leads me to believe hemifacial spasms can occur on both sides but it's normally on one side or the other.
"Rarely, doctors see individuals with spasm on both sides of the face."
