Hi, thank you very much for replying to me.
Yes, I went to the hospital for a checkup at the age of 13 because of tinnitus.
No symptoms before tinnitus,The school did not give any support。
The hospital prescribed a drug called methylcobalamin at that time.I've been using it for about two months with no effect.
Hearing aids are not used because the doctor thinks they are not needed for the time being。
Tinnitus worsened in May this year。
I did not experience prolonged noisy environments during my school days,No deafness in the family history。
Can I try to send you the results of the tinnitus test?
Thanks again for your reply。
Because my English is not good, I use translation software to communicate with you, so there are some grammatical problems, sorry.

HELLO... just reading your comment and I have had tinnitus for many years but mild and last 2 years has become almost unbearable but I am a Senior. I have had no support for tinnitus over the years... may I ask what Tinnitus Test you had. I have had hearing tests and have slight to moderate hearing loss but no one ever told me there was a test for Tinnitus...thanks, take care, J.

May I ask where you live? In the United States schools are required to provide support to students who have any kind of disability, even those that are hidden or invisible. If tinnitus affected your school work you should have had some special support.

You are 25 years old now. Are you employed? In what kind of job?

I am not aware of the tinnitus test you say you have results from, so would not know how to evaluate your results. What kind of medical doctor did you see?

Unfortunately, tinnitus is a mystery for the most part. Researchers are working hard to figure out what causes it and what remedies it. The problem is that remedies seem to vary. Allergies have been mentioned as possible causes, but it has to be determined as to what you are allergic to.

Below is a link to a researchers explanation of what tinnitus sounds like. It's not easy to explain to those who don't understand.
