I had Covid in January 2022 which didn't pick up on rapid tests on 2 visits to a clinic. Put on antibiotics twice . I knew I was positive when my son and husband got it. I was sick, weak, short of breath, dizzy with standing or sitting, coughing, nausea/vomiting and diarrhea. I was unable to tolerate anything but ice chips and Popsicles. I was in bed for 6 weeks. Continued congestion and headaches led me to an ENT. Tried antibiotics and prednisone without relief so CT showed my sinuses were completely blocked. Had sinus surgery in April. In May, a papercut got infected and I got cellulitis. Took until July to heal and 3 rounds of antibiotics. In August, I was diagnosed with C-Diff ( I have IBS-D so diarrhea is a constant) I'm allergic to VANCOMYCIN so took Dificid. During these past 9 months I have lost 45 pounds, still can't eat more than a few bites followed by severe nausea. My GI doctor put me on Zofran and wants to retest for C-Diff. I have RA, fibromyalgia and type 2 diabetes. My A1C is 5.4 on metformin and Ozempic. We decreased the latter to see if it would help the nausea. I had to stop my methotrexate I take for RA, with each infection. I had a normal colonoscopy and EGD last September. I had an esophageal stricture that was dilated. I'm on Prilosec 40mg for a long history of GERD.
Where to I go from here? I'm literally sick of being sick!

Sorry to hear this. My friend has c-diff and has suffered so. I also have RA and can’t imagine going without my Humira. I pray they find something to help you. Hugs!
