Painful Pedicure Massage: Venous insufficiency?

Pedicure massage today extremely painful. Lessened but continued after. Recent leg vein ultasound, due to wound issues, showed saphenous vein issues among others. Ablation being discussed. Would this issue cause the pain?

Hi @mfh44, Welcome to Connect. I don't think @bkvfuller is still following Connect to see your post. We are patients like yourself and can only share our experiences and cannot provide medical advice. That said, since you mentioned that your doctors said your recent leg vein ultrasound showed saphenous vein issues and they were discussing an ablation it seems logical that a pedicure massage on the same leg with nerve issues could cause you pain.

Have you discussed the pain symptoms with your doctor yet?
