If you caught the spread early and get the right treatment now you should have a good chance of stopping or delaying the advance for a long time.
My spouse caught it early by self examination and we had some luck getting into a good place for treatment. We still had problems of over enthusiastic radiation treatment when she didn’t need them at all.
But she’s three years into the treatment and no evidence of return despite her decision to drop an oral prescription because of side effects. We’re in our eighties and managing well so far.
Keep you confidence and optimism strong and get on at least one prayer list.
