I am 11 mo post vax injury and have added throat issues to my array of issues. Mine flares with food and supplements - constantly feel like I have mucus stuck in my esophagus and my right tonsil get mad at all foods. Really struggling to eat anything or even drink water. Have you found relief? I did start prednisone course for 5 days to maybe hit the swelling but tbd. Seeing a functional MD Thursday. I have no idea what to do.

100% exact same scenario for me. NEVER had allergies. Always active and playing sports. I can't even play adult soccer now. I have been to the cardiologist due to rapid heart rate and palpitations. I has EKG and Echocaridiograms (ultra sound of the heart) and everything is normal except for tachycardia which is fast heart rate. I have been prescribed flecanide and it has really helped with the fast heart rate and palpitations.

However, I had never experienced this until after I had the vaccine (Pfizer, two shots). I wish I never did it but I thought I was helping protect others. I'm sure there is a different thread for this, but I am really struggling because I think the vaccine created a reaction where my body is producing a THICK, STICKY, SALTY mucus and phlegm that I can never get rid of. I hope that I can get some type of remedy for this issue and stop guessing and blaming things that may have nothing to do with it.

I had 2nd dose of vaccine April 24 2021 and days after started with thick adhesive like phlegm. My husband got vaccine April 8 and 13 days after fever hospitalized lungs filled with thick phlegm had heart attack in hospital after choking on phlegm put on ventilator died May 8. I was Diagnosed covid January 2022 after 3 trips to er after o2 says dropping to in the 50s hospitalized 2 weeks rehab 3 months through all this still have the thick phlegm drainage and now since actually having covid on O2

I have tried pretty much everything and I’m hoping it will go away on its own. I did read someone else’s comment who said they’ve had it for fifteen years.!

I have the exact same issue, it started in Feb of 2022 and I had received the 2 vaccines and I’m still having this issue terribly, affecting me to fall asleep until it settled down, i even went to see a surgeon and did the scope and saw nothing!!! I try everything, the doctor even prescribed nasal spray but nothing have worked yet!!!!
Looking for solution

I have had constant thick phlegm since April 2021 (about 7-10 days after receiving the 2nd dose of the vaccine on 3-21-21) - I was suicidal for a while - no sleep for me or hubby having to listen to my efforts to get rid of the phlegm. I have tried so many things - nothing has worked (all suggested/prescribed by physicians). I have decided not to get another vaccine because I am sure it is the reason I am suffering. Now what? Between a rock and a hard place. Guess I'll be wearing a mask any time I go out. So damn frustrating.

I’ve had this exact same thing for 2.5 years. Never had covid, had just the one AZ jab and this is one of several symptoms I have from it. It’s ruined my life. Can’t cough it up, it’s not in my nose, a sinus rinse has confirmed that. I find it easier to get some of it out when I’m cleaning my teeth? Still waiting on an ENT appointment.
