I’m unable to get the vaccine because of a defective heart. So naturally I’ve been careful to wear a good quality mask before I leave my apartment and observe the procedures to stay safe. Guess what, I’ve had Covid 5 times, the 1st, 3rd and 5th were the worst. I’m a long hauler as you can imagine. I lost my taste from #3 and 6 days later, I lost my smell. That was back in March 2022. Then in July 2022, I caught the Covid Variant BA.5 as my 5th case. That thing was nasty, fast, easy to catch and vicious. In less than 2 days, I went deaf in my right ear after getting severe earaches in both ears. My taste, smell and deafness eased up but still active. Now I’m waiting to catch the flu, so I got a maximum dose of flu vaccine. In 2017, after having the flu vaccine also the pneumonia shot 2 months later, disaster struck. Not only did I get the flu, I also ended up with bronchitis and pneumonia. So my poor body was fighting all three bugs at the same time. To this day, you can see on X-rays the damage and scaring in the bottom of my left lung where the battle took place. So I’m always out of breath. The Covid seems to have run its course but the flu season is about to hit. Hope you are feeling well. @becky1024

@becky1024 Oh, I'm sorry you've gone through so much. I, too have heart issues, but my cardiologist wanted me vaccinated.

Sending Covid free hugs and positive thoughts.
