I have just been diagnosed with the spread of metastatic breast cancer.
I had a mastectomy on my left breast two years ago.
No radiation was needed then, as the lymph nodes were tested clear.
They said they got it all, but not so
I am now waiting for a chemo drug to be cleared for me to take to manage my cancer.
I am told there is no cure for this cancer.
I am told this drug or any other drug that will work will attempt to stop the growth of cancer in my bones and/or liver, etc.
To say I am devastated is an understatement.
Am I in the right place for this type of breast cancer discussion? If not, please advise me where to go for information.

I can't imagine. If it can't be cured, can it indefinitely treated? This is what we all fear the most, a bad call. Please know I will be checking in with you if that's all right.
