@collierga - I'm really sorry to hear your neuropathy is worsening from your severe cervical stenosis. The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has some tips here that might be helpful:

-- Managing & Coping with Neuropathy:

Other members have also found Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) helpful. Here's a discussion on MFR.
-- Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) for treating compression and pain: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/myofascial-release-therapy-mfr-for-treating-compression-and-pain/

Hopefully you get some answers next week at your neurologist appointment. Have you heard of MFR?

Have you tried marijuana gummy’s. They help me a ton. They usually come in 10mg and I split them in half. Sativa during the day indica for night.
Don’t be a Penny pincher either. The cheaper ones are worthless unless you enjoy ringing in you ears that make you go crazy. Try a mid range one. The ones that help me are called Dixie.
I hope this help. I know exactly what you are feeling. Buying the gummy’s was hard for me at first because I was a police officer. But I went in and tried the gummy’s and take 1/2 which is 5mg. You shouldn’t have any buzz at all but it helps with pain.

Is Dixie online? Do you know whether the gummy's will interfere with any medications I am taking? If not, I will check with them. Thanks for the information.

To get the gummy’s with THC in them you’d have to go to one of the stores that sells pot, ( Like in Michigan they are called
Provisional Centers.Nobody can get THC in the mail because it’s still considered a schedule 1 drug with the US government.
I don’t believe the gummy’s interfere with any medications that I’m aware of. But it always best to chat with your doctor before. Just call him and leave a message. They usually have a nurse call you back with his answer.

I hope these gummy’s help you. They do help me a lot and i have a terminal form of neuropathy and I’m on Hospice. Even smoking marijuana helps. I just don’t enjoy the buzz. Some folks love it and swear by it.
Also make sure you doctor puts you on Gabapentin. Some people say it doesn’t help but they often are not on the correct dosage.
I sure hope this helps. I know what it feels like when you get neuropathy and you feel miserable. But a lot of people including doctors say “ you don’t look sick to me”
Make
Sure you get a doctor that specializes in Neuropathy. They will understand the torment of this disease.
I hope this helps you out.

My family doctor and the Mayo are both aware that I have started taking THC gummies since July because Mayo regiment for my SFN isn’t quite helping. I’m taking both the gummies and the Mayo Rx. My family doctors only concern was the sugar content and making sure they were gluten free since I’m a celiac. They have helped but everything is just addressing symptoms…wish I knew the cause of my SFN!
