Are you also allergic to Welbutrin? It's used for depression and it is the same drug that is used to help people quit smoking. It's not an SSRI or and MAOI. I've been on it for over a year and I've had great results. Side effects are pretty much nothing. I have had some dry mouth and weight loss but that might be from the Adderall that I also take, and let's be honest it's seriously better than the side effects from other depression meds.

It might take some time (like a month) for you to feel the effects. It's hard for me to judge because when I went on it I was recovering from an allergic reaction to lamictal so I was on hardcore steroid meds which mess with your mood. I understand how frustrating it is to try meds only to have them make the situation worse. I hope you have better luck with whatever you decide to do next. 🙂

I've heard of it but have not tried it. I'm supposed to make an appointment to see my doctor soon so I'll bring it up. Thanks! Hopefully I won't be allergic to it.
