@steveandsteph Thanks so much for your response! It's certainly a real bonus that you had no pain with your biopsies but mine might be on my tongue and inner lips, where all the problem is, would they not? I'm very immunocompromised due to 4 or 5 other autoimmune conditions (GCA, Crohns, etc.) so, unfortunately, I've been advised not to have the shingles vax. I wish I could though.

Hi Laurie! I'm Stephanie btw. Could not get my name in there somehow. i think the inner lip will be okay but not sure about tongue. I still think you will be okay as mouth tissue heals really quickly.
Hate to hear about all your immunocompromise, really frustrating. I sure hope you don't get shingles, got enough going on.
I am looking into boosting my immune system as this OLP seems to be a real puzzle even for the "experts". I think much of this is related to allergies and immunity.
Yes, it's an awful affliction. Take care of yourself best you can:)
