My name is Sharon.I am now 72. My journey in pain started when I was in my early20's. I had been in 6 rear end accidents before I turned 22. Had 2 sons by my 23rd Birthday. I worked as a collection agent, repossession agent, home foreclosure agent, etc. Yes, I did my own repossessions. Yes I've been in some frightening situations. In my hope for help with neck pain I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. My R/A went into remission for 2years before returning with a vengeance. About the same time my R/A returned I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I was already done with pain. Having Fibromyalgia just makes all of this worse. I had 2 knees replaced. Best decision I've made. I now have fractures in my lower back & neck. My eyes got cloudy due to glaucoma, had surgery for that. I finally retired after 38 years in my occupation. The longer I was in my position, the uglier debtors got. I found I was fatigued all day. Sleeping later & just generally unable to keep up with demands of the house have plagued me. My husband is my help. He has been remarkably helpful. I continue to look for help. I am trying to stay open minded. I'm also very interested in what my meds are & why do my Drs seem to think different meds will do for me. I would prefer to be on Humira. But as we age & are forced on Medicare, patients have very little to say about their treatment. Thank you if you made it through this novel. I'm open to questions. Sharon.

Your journey is similar for mine, except mine has been 85% about headaches. Started at 21, still have pain at 72. Thanks for writing! 🤗
