I'm glad Lipitor works for you, but I've been on all the statins and have a reaction to every one of them. My cardiologist put me on Rapatha, an injection I take every 2 weeks to help lower my "bad" cholesterol.

My heart goes out to you for that regimen of needing an injection every two weeks instead of a statin! Might I suggest trying to avoid all refined carbs? From personal experience, I observed that after a friend served fruit marinated in Cointreau liquor (read that as pure sugar) my cholesterol shot way up. So I offered to return for a recheck in two weeks, when it had returned to normal. Because diabetes runs in my paternal family, and because I’m obese, I make a conscious effort to avoid refined carbs. My A1C is 5.6. Total cholesterol 130.
