Anyone taken Evenity (romosozumab) for Osteoporosis?

That is very interesting. I called Amgen, who makes Evenity, and was told not to have any oral surgery while taking it. There is also a warning about it in the literature on Evenity.

thanks for checking, that's not too reassuring. IIRC, there was a post from someone who said that they were told to go off their osteoporosis med for 6 weeks, have the surgery then wait another 6 weeks for their next set of shots. I think it was Evenity, because it would be easier to pause than some of the others, but I don't remember what thread it was in. I guess we all have to discuss with our health care providers, do our own research and make the most informed choice we can. At this point, I'm not sure there is a good alternative to any of these drugs should one need oral surgery.
