Has anyone stopped using Prolia? I've heard it causes fractures--is that true and how often? I also have hair loss, even though my doctor said this was not a side effect.

Do you feel at risk for fractures?

My hair loss is so bad with one shot. I am thinking about stopping Prolia

I was on Prolia for 18 months (3 shots). Last month I started to rebound with Reclast. My hair has been falling terribly within the last month or two. I mean handfuls. I did’nt like being on Prolia, I’m sure that this hair loss is because of Prolia. Also my nails are a mess. They will not grow because all they do is split and peel. I never had this issue before. My gums are getting inflamed also. Now with this all being said, last week when I went to stand up I rolled my ankle and fell. Nothing broke!! I’m glad that I re-thought taking Prolia.
