Hello, I just got my surgery for the Osia on 8/16 and device activation will be on 9/21. I’ll admit I’m slightly nervous, but so excited. It was nice to discover this post, it eased my worries.

I believe it is AMAZING, I can’t hear out of my right ear but when I got my implant I was very CONFUSED, as I don’t hear out of my right ear, I hear where the implant is up on my head, they drilled into my Heckler and I hear from the microphone up on my head and it is so awesome it is very very unique!
I thought that I would be hearing from my ear but I don’t I hear from up top my head and it is just so amazing how technology has come this far!!!
