@amli65

I’m new to this site. My doctor wanted to start me on Evenity for my osteoporosis. My health insurance denied approval for it. However I am now on original Medicare part A & part B. As I understand it part B covers Evenity. I know it’s expensive. I’m trying to find out what it’s going to cost a month as I am retired I will have to budget for it. Is anyone on Medicare taking it with no other coverage. What is the cost ? Thanks

My Anthem BS/BC covered all but a monthly $391 co-pay, plus the ENT visit. This put a really big dent in my budget over 12 months, but was worth it, since I got a great improvement in my scores as a result.

Amli65, Medicare only cover 80%, so without your insurance coverage you may pay roughly $360+ per month, medicine only. That is what I know.
