Thanks, but no. The article talks about biting the tongue while trying to talk.

I bite my tongue while trying to eat - period. Trying to figure out why, but it seems no one can explain the reason.

I know I’m a little late to the discussion, but do you have any neurodivergence? I have found there’s a correlation between the two. A lot of my friends, (including myself), and from other people on the internet, constantly bite our tongues when eating, even when chewing slow and intently. I found that disorders that make the brain move a bit faster than the neurotypical person (I.e: ADHD, Autism, OCD, etc), causes almost some sort of a disconnect of trying to control your tongue specifically because of how distracted and how fast our brain is moving, even if you don’t realize it.
