I was sent to Univ of Florida Shands in Jacksonville. I have only seen his PA once who told me the surgical oncologist wanted the ultrasound biopsy done as opposed to a laparoscopic biopsy because it was less invasive and they could get the same tissue samples without the surgery. I am going to send a message to the surgical oncologist for clarification.
