Mine too was HPV related and caught early. Mine started growing rapidly after discovery. (lymph gland) From about 1 cm to about 5 cm in 3 months. I was lucky in that I did not require dental work either as I already had dentures but some require dental extractions. Good news is the prognosis for success is high. Bad news is the radiation.... It is a rough solution to the problem and your husband will never even know that he had cancer but he will never forget the treatment. I luckily did not get Covid until over 2 years after my treatment and I had the vaccine and booster so it was no big deal. I was down and out while the country was shut down for Covid. Again good luck and God Bless.
