Hello Colleen! Thank you for checking in; that's very kind of you. I did go to a specialized post-Covid care clinic where I live. They referred me to the neurologist I'm scheduled to visit in September and did an overall check-up. They determined that I was dealing with Acute Post COVID-19 Syndrome with headaches, they've been okay to follow up with new symptoms that have come up, like fatigue, but I've gotten more response from my Primary Care Doctor. I've started taking Magnesium as a supplement which has helped with the fatigue and my energy levels, still, not 100%, but it has helped. My mental health has struggled a lot, but I found a new therapist who I think has helped a lot. We talked about that in part my anxiety is about how traumatic getting COVID was for me and I'm bringing a lot of that into my journey with long-COVID. It's a day by day process and I'm confident that we can only get better from here, it's the only way for me to cope with it.

Angelica, I posted this to you and others in a different discussion, but I think it bears repeating here too. It's a blog post from Dr. Vanichkachorn, medical director of Mayo Clinic's COVID Activity Rehabilitation Program, about mental health and long COVID that is both validating and helpful:

Is anxiety new for you with Covid or have you dealt with it before? I like your attitude and am glad that you have such a champion in your corner with your PCP.

Can you say more about the magnesium supplement you took for fatigue? What kind and what was the dose? I have terrible fatigue and muscle weakness. Will try anything to help. Thanks!
