Pancreatitis

I saw a Gastroenterologist when I was in hospital for the first acute pancreatitis attack. I met none of the criteria for the attack so the doctors thought it was a side affect of a drug I took (sulfasalazine). After stopping the drug, I had a second attack a year later and then the doctor did an ERCP test. It is a specialized test where the doctor can see inside the pancreas. The doctor discovered my pancreas had not developed correctly in the womb. Now I’m very careful what I eat, but so far no problems. 🤞🤞

Good luck.

Thank you so much. Pancreatitis is my guess after having had it twice as a child and remembering the symptoms. However, my Drs. are reluctant to give me any diagnosis much less treatment. Now I have some more ammunition.
