Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

I have had them since March 2021 and saw many drs over the last year and was just diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy with cause unknown after dozens of tests and bloodwork. The only people I know who have this are covid survivors. I was never diagnosed with covid so not sure if that is where mine came from or not. Many of us may have had it and not known.

Hi @debbpyk. I'm sorry to hear you were diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy. How are you doing since diagnosis? Have you found symptom relief from nerve medication yet?

Have you joined other conversations on Connect in the Neuropathy threads? Here is a link if your interested:

You'll find a great deal of insight from community members who also have SFN. Let me introduce you to @artscaping and @johnbishop who are wonderful, resourceful mentors also living with neuropathy.

How annoying to wonder where symptoms like vibrations derive from. Post-Covid and Neuropathy both can cause internal vibrations and tremors. I feel vibrations in my feet, legs and occasionally hip area. Where do feel your vibrations? Do they wake you?

Good afternoon @2debbpyk. It's great to meet you. Thanks, @rwinney for this introduction. What I see right now is that you received a diagnosis of (SFN) small fiber neuropathy. You had so many tests so I am wondering if you remember a skin biopsy test. Is that the one you that you think determined your diagnosis? It does seem like your results were "idiopathic" or as you wrote......cause unknown.

Sometimes it is frustrating not to know how you got this way and what it means for your future. I had my diagnosis about 9 years ago. Once I understood more about SFN, I began to realize that my traumatic injury life with multiple orthopedic surgeries must have had a lot to do with my diagnosis.

I do want to make sure I get to know how you are handling your SFN symptoms. Do they include numbness, burning pain, and what I call "tingle-tangles"? And finally, may I ask if you have been referred to a specialist, e.g. a neurologist?

May you be safe, protected and free from inner and outer harm.
Chris
