New to Mayo Bariatric Group: What are your tips for success?

I am 4 months post op… Dr Madera in Phoenix was my surgeon. I was sleeved 9 years ago and then developed acid reflux. The sleeve has a high percentage you will develop Gerd. I would opt for the RNY . It is the best surgery out there for weight loss. A very low percentage of problems

Thank you - I had a bad accident in 2016 and lost my spleen so Dr Hower warned me that he won’t know if I have too much scarring until he goes to do the RNY … I’d too much scarring he’ll have to do the sleeve.
I’ve heard better things about the RNY so I’m alittle worried and bummed.
I appreciate your help and knowledge!
