I have a similar condition, but attribute the "extreme fatigue" to Gabapentin, which I take every three hours to alleviate the nerve pain in my left lower leg.

Good evening @arcticmark, it is nice to meet you on Connect. This is the way I learn.....by reading others' descriptions of their experiences. I note that you feel Gabapentin brings on "extreme fatigue" for you. How much do you take every three hours? I have been using some level of Gabapentin since I was first diagnosed with SFN (small fiber neuropathy) 9 years ago. It may be just me but I don't think that Gabapentin creates fatigue at that level. I actually think the fatigue comes from trying to have a reasonable quality of life while living with constant pain.

Last week, I made an attempt to taper off some of my Gabapentin and replace it with another strain or an increased dosage of medical cannabis. Didn't work. I was just dragging. Even my MFR therapist noticed that I had more fascia tightness as well as pain.

So.....be careful. Everyone is different. And I am dealing with SFN which means that my pain can be and often is all over my body.

Do you use any other medications? How about compression for that leg?

May you be free of suffering and the causes of suffering.
Chris
