You've been thru a lot too. I thought a hip replacement was supposed to be an easier operation than knee replacements. I have had both knees replaced and they were no big deal.

THR are easier than knees and generally restore a person to full mobility and life again. In my case my first few THR's were VERY successful - I was even able to put the cane away for well over a year. My issue came after multiple revisions to my left THR when I got my first infection. Don't despair things can get better. I have had 2 spacers - first one it was broke putting into place so I had a broken spacer for about 3-4 months; 2nd one was not cemented and again was in for about 3-4 months; I may have also had no spacer one time - with all the surgeries and procedures I forget! LOL
