I use Magnesium Glycinate at night because it has the amino acid glycine which has a calming effect on the body and helps with sleep. It also well absorbed in the body. Both Mg citrate and glycinate have anti inflammatory benefits but, beware, it also helps with constipation and may give you a crampy feeling during the day. I would start with a lower than recommended dosage. You also need the combo of vitamin D3 and K2 for bone benefit. Some type of fish oil or omega3 would help too or fish several times a week…the ones higher in omega 3 like salmon and sardines.

Do you also take Calcium? Also what brand of Magnesium Glycinate do you take?
