Iron Depletion in Blood related to COVID?

@elenaeaton

I received only one dose of the Johnson and Johnson Covid vaccine. This vaccine does not contain PEG.

I received the vaccine in March and was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia 2 months later ( short of breath, nails splintering, hair loss, etc.). My blood work showed significantly low levels of hemoglobin, hematocrit, serum iron, ferritin and total iron bonding capacity. I took Vitrol-C daily for 6 months and all blood rose to normal levels.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry you've had such a rough time.
I did have a small internal bleed (black fec.) After the Pfizer booster and I wondered if the PEGs had thinned my blood. Subsequent tests showed no more internal bleeding. But I had severe anaemia following the booster made better by a blood transfusion and iron pills for several weeks.
