Take calcium with vitamin D & magnesium because all three work together to increase bone density. I've also read that ADDING vitamin K, manganese, copper & boron can help improve bone density. I take them in a multiple vitamin & mineral supplement that I get at Costco (Kirkland)

It is my understanding that you need Vitamin K2 rather than just plain K. Supposedly helps the calcium you take go to the bone, rather than the blood.

Which magnesium? Citrate,?Malate?
