@naperjohn, make an appointment with your Uro to rule out any serious causes. I think I read in my research that either it’s 10 or 20% of men with enlarged prostate experience some occasional bleeding from a highly vascular prostate. One of the culprits is having a difficult bowel movement within the last 24 hours. That was my issue and once I fixed that the problem has not returned. Going to the Urologist gave me peace of mind that it wasn’t something more serious. He’ll do a cystoscope so you’ll need to bear a few uncomfortable minutes. When I left the office I had a big smile knowing from the immediate results that it wasn’t bladder cancer.

Same story....difficult bowel movement, and then some blood out of penis. Once I started the stool softener, and changed diet a bit, all cleared up.
