I have used ALA now for 4 years. Does it help? Hard to know, since PN is progressive, I don't know what the degree of my PN would be if I didn't take it at all. So, I continue on using it since two docs suggested it to me. It has not decreased the neuropathy, but perhaps is helps slow it down?? So far, I've seen no negative aspects of it,
