@pamelaz
Your side effects may decrease in severity or go away altogether.
Since all 4 medications can potentially cause balance problems, did those problems begin soon after you started taking Gabapentin?
Take care,
Jake
No I was having problems before. But the side effects of Gabapentin and the jerking and tremors are not fun. Had shakes side to side and forward and back and my eyes roll. It effects my Gerd but the doctors tel me it doesn’t.
Thank you John.....that was very nice of you to find that article for @bcool123. It really is no secret that John is the best researcher of all the mentors, including me.

Hello, I recently added Magnesium to my supplements and felt an immediate positive response to my PN. The 24/7 aching of my feet (like bad toothaches) has subsided. I'm now able to sleep and don't have to have my feet outside of the sheets at night. For women the recommended dose is about 300mg /day and form men it's 400. Just want to shout it from the rooftops in case it can help anyone else have just a small bit of relief.

Hello @loraf, Welcome to Connect. It's good to hear a Magnesium supplement has provide a positive impact on your PN. Just in case you were not aware, there are other supplements that help with neuropathy symptoms. See pages 5 and 6 of the following document on the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy site -- Complementary and Alternative Treatments – https://www.foundationforpn.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Complementary-and-Alternative-Treatments-Revised-2020-final.-1.pdf
Do you mind sharing a little more about your neuropathy diagnosis and how long you have had it?
Thank you Chris and John for finding this article for me. Hope you’re enjoying the dog days of summer!
