Back Pain and Headaches with on MAC Treatment

My husband Bruce is also on the three MAC antibiotics plus Arikayce since September 2021.
Over the past several weeks he has also developed severe back pain which began on his right side under his ribs and expanded. Tylenol 600 and a heating pad barely touch it. His shortness of breath has also intensified.
Waiting for a response from his ID/Pulmonologist.
I too wonder if others have experience with this and if it’s related to the heavy antibiotic cocktail.

Hi Melissa - This sound like either pleurisy or costochondritis, both miserable effects of coughing - if the specialists don't respond soon, call his primary.
When I had it, I needed pain meds for a few days to get past the worst of it.
