2nd opinion with team approach
Do you offer the option of having a team provide a second opinion as opposed to one doctor. As I understand it, breast cancer is treated by a team - surgical oncologist, radiation oncologist, and medical oncologist. Is it possible to have my records reviewed by your team as opposed to one doctor? If so, how do I set that up?

Hi @trixie999 Mayo Clinic is known for its collaborative approach to treating their patients. You may see a specific specialist at your first appointment but other doctors will be brought into your team as needed. I’m a patient there myself and experienced this outstanding care from several departments throughout my journey.
If you’d like to make an appointment at Mayo Clinic, please go the link I’ve provided. It will take you to the main page for requesting appointments. You can determine which campus would be the best for you and simply call the number provided. The coordinator who takes your call will help guide you through the process.

Have you recently been diagnosed with breast cancer? Have you started any treatment yet?
In my experience, a team approach is not the same as having a second opinion. I had a team of medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, and surgeon. But I ended up with two second opinions at different hospital cancer centers.
