@birdieman, did your cystectomy remove part of your bladder? If so, that could reduce its volume and cause a urination signal to go to your brain earlier. My surgery started with a TURP followed by Cystectomy to remove papillary tumors on the lining of my bladder. Urge to urinate developed several years later, probably as new growth in my prostate.
