Also, there are one or two other steroids that can be prescribed instead of clobetasol. In addition one other topical ointment which is not a steroid. Cant remember what it is called. Sometimes getting the clobetasol in the cream form as opposed to ointment or vice versa makes a difference. For me, the ointment burns and stings but cream okay.
There are dermatologists and gynecologists who specialize in vulvar skin conditions.
