How can I try this treatment in Alabama or where do I need to go for treatment? Have lots of pain and nothing seems to work. My DR recommended it to me.

@rse77, Greetings and welcome to Connect. Thanks for the introduction @amandajro.
Here is the link to the Medical Cannabis Commission in Alabama.
amcc.alabama.gov
You will be able to see how the folks in Alabama have prepared the rules and regulations for their recent approval of medical cannabis.

Basically, if I read this correctly, you can receive a permit to use medical cannabis if you are over 19. Hopefully, the commission will have dispensaries staffed with cannabis pharmacologists who can help you learn how to begin a medical cannabis regimen that will help you with your "lots of pain".

I am glad your doctor recommended medical cannabis for your pain. It certainly helps me stay active and pretty darn happy. I have been using it for 9 years as the only treatment for my neuropathic pain. At this point, I only use two products......tinctures and topicals. I find that consistency can be an issue if edibles and vapes that are not covered by the regulations are used.

Please let me know if you have additional questions. And don't forget to check in with your doctor about your symptoms and how they may be moderated.......both pain and fatigue.

May you be free of suffering and the causes of suffering.
Chris
