Actually, I just checked, and it is more available now than it was late last year. Swanson, NOW and several other suppliers are still selling it. The only one available on Amazon is hugely expensive, so look at other vendors. Vitacost.com has many brands and doses available.

I get NAC from my local health food store. So far no shortage. I've bought NOW brand 600 mg (100 caps) for $20. The Blue Bonnet brand, 500 mg (90) caps is $22. The store runs a 15% off everything one day a month and I always make sure to go get what I need then.
