I had the Lapidus 3D correction procedure at Mayo in Rochester. They did a great job and communication was great. They don't have the proprietary Lapiplasty hardware, however. They use screws. I'm 8 weeks out and went into a boot at 6 weeks out. I am at 50 % weight bearing and will be on crutches a couple more weeks. I am wondering if the Lapiplasty hardware offers a shorter recovery time. Does anyone know?
