Hey, my name is Visa. My issues started with breast cancer in 2007. Chemo, lumpectomy, and radiation started unbearable and painful nerve damage in my arm and breast area. 3 years on pains meds for pain they told me I shouldn't have..REALLY!!! Two spinal cord stimulators...removed due to hardward failure. Now, I have a Stimwave implant that is shocking me. Each "fix" has created a new issue.... It is never "their" fault!!!!! I am so sick of hearing such crap from uncaring doctors.

@visakimbell Hello, Visa, and welcome to Connect. My apologies for the delayed response. I am so sorry to hear of your nerve damage after surviving breast cancer. Congratulations on being a survivor and beating cancer! 💪

The difficult thing with implants and injections is that they intrude the body and aggravate tissues and nerves, hence stirring up symptoms and potentially creating more. It can be a vicious cycle, trying to manage pain and it sure sounds like you gave it a good shot.

What is next for you and pain management? How are you currently self-managing your arm pain? Have you ever considered a pain management program like the Mayo Clinic offers?
