I was lucky. I had a needle biopsy, which was benign last year. If it had been cancer, the thyroid removal is curative without chemo!! I followed up this year, and the nodule has not changed. I am following up the lung nodules in a week or so. Hoping for the same. It was overwhelming last year; but I found some people on a similar journey on this site and it was super helpful.

If anything happens that the nodule grows know that you can have RFA ( radio frequency ablation) so you can keep your gland. There are groups in FB fyi.
