Peppermint oil or tea? I have never heard of this. I do follow a low fodmap as well. I will look for peppermint.

Ive tried the capsules, which are handy for when out, and straight peppermint tea or a green tea peppermint blend. All seem helpful, especially if the tablets are taken before a meal and the tea just after.

I drink hot peppermint tea every day and couple of times a day. I is very soothing. I also drink ginger tea. It’s very good for you too. I’ve stated taking IB Gard. It’s also peppermint capsules you take before meals 3x a day. My gastroenterologist suggested it also. Over the counter and can be bought in bulk on line.
If any one has had REAL success with the FODMAP diet please let me know. My doctor told me he has only had 1 patient that washable to stay on it for 6 months and then gave it up.
